I'm a Burmese born Australian creative entrepreneur living in Melbourne, Australia having previously spent 13 years in Shanghai. I specialize as a creative director in film, music and events.I’m currently the co-founder of Club Media, a transformative entertainment production company leveraging emerging technologies to create exciting new opportunities, content, and IP across the Asia-Pacific.

In 2007, I founded  S.T.D. , a highly respected promotions team which hosted some of China's most legendary shows. As the main booker, I invited acts including Pusha T, Theophilus London, DigitalismJoey Badass, Boys Noize, Flying Lotus, Anderson .Paak, Squarepusher, Nosaj ThingTokimonstaSimian Mobile DiscoRatatatColdcutTrickyAtrak, The Presets, Luke Vibert and Sham 69 to name a few.

During my ten years with S.T.D., I was also the creative director for our creative agency. As creative director, I worked with over 20 clients ideating and executing various campaigns. My clients included AdidasVans, Nike, Converse, Absolut, Paul Frank, Calvin Klein, Beats By Dre, BacardiH&MZaraJack DanielsBurberry and more.

In 2012, I opened my first bar Arcade, a cocktail lounge celebrating 80s culture that became the lounge room for Shanghai’s creative and fashion elite. In 2013, I opened my first underground club Arkham, which became a defining chapter in Shanghai’s evolution into an ‘it’ location in the world.

Having studied Music Technology at The Queensland Conservatorium of Music, I’m also an adept music producer. My music has found its way to ad campaigns for Nike, AdidasFordConverseOlayRay BanLuis Vutton, Absolut and Air Jordan amongst others. In 2019, I contributed compositions for Chinese feature film “To Live To Sing” directed by Johnny Ma which was selected at Cannes Film Festival and took Best Picture at Shanghai International Film Festival.

Like everyone else in the last 15 years, I taught myself how to DJ. I've headlined festivals to thousands of enthralled punters, played high profile fashion parties including events for Luis VuttonCalvin KleinPradaVogue, Elle Magazine and even caught the eye of Jean Paul Gaultier who invited me to DJ at his first ever fashion event in China.

In 2014, I was selected by Lane Crawford as one of the top 10 most creative people in Shanghai. I was rewarded with a photoshoot with legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier. Neat!

In 2017, I joined 88rising as general manager and creative director for their flagship Asian office in Shanghai. As the first hire, I was tasked to build a team to further 88rising’s ambition to become a bridge between the East and West. I went on to build 88rising’s boutique creative agency, social media network, production house and music distribution in year one. 88rising quickly became a household name for Chinese youth culture and set new standards for what a young disruptive entertainment company could be in China.

In 2018, Whilst still working at 88rising, I was hand picked by Ian Schraeger (legendary founder of Studio 54) to become their Nightlife Director for Electric Circus, the premiere nightclub in Asian flagship Edition Hotel in Shanghai. Over my six month tenure I oversaw creative direction, branding, events and artist bookings.

As co-founder of Club Media, I’m collecting together my eclectic experiences and disciplines into a company that aims to evolve entertainment for a new generation.
